Paducah, KY — The box at Bluegrass Downs is now open for electronic entries and will be open until 10 a.m. on Wednesday morning (May 23) for the first draw at Bluegrass.
Phone entries will be taken between 9-10 a.m. and the local number for entries is 270.442.4626 and long distance for entries is 888.932.0202.
Bluegrass will draw Wednesday for Friday, Thursday for Saturday and Friday for Sunday, with electronic entries accepted or phone entries taken between 9-10 a.m. on the morning of entry.
The track has been in good shape early on with only horses that have made breaks failing to qualify.
Horsemen are reminded that there is a new policy at Bluegrass Downs. No horses shall be permitted on the grounds unless the requirements below are met, per Tim Schmitz, Presiding Judge.
All horses must have a current EHV vaccination on file (dated this year 2018) and negative Coggins (one year). All horses shipping into the track for the first time must present a valid certificate of veterinary inspection dated within 72 hours of entry with temperature on certificate.
