Dresden, ON — Dresden Raceway will be hosting a Canada Day weekend harness racing doubleheader.

The OLG, Ontario Racing and the AGCO have approved June 30 as an extra race date to the 2019 calendar to make up for a rainout that occurred on June 16.

This weekend, Dresden will race on Sunday (June 30) and will feature a regular card of racing that will feature the same daily giveaways, as well as the growing Chase The Ace jackpot.

Canada Day Monday (July 1) will also feature giveaways, as well as a star-studded card of racing with Ontario Sire Stakes three-year-old trotting fillies and the second leg of the Mark Austin Pacing Series.

Dresden Raceway daily giveaways are from Tim Hortons, McDonald’s, Subway, Lisa Fox Essential Oils, Shopper’s Drug Mart, Harvey’s/Swiss Chalet, The Track Kitchen and Mario’s Pizza Plus.

Post time for both Sunday and Monday is set for 1:30 p.m.
