Earl Rowe/OSS Gold divisions Sunday night on COSA TV

COSA TV’s Facebook Live series continues this Sunday night (Aug. 16) with a stop at Rideau Carleton Raceway in Ottawa. Three-year-old colt pacers will be featured in the Ontario Sires Stakes on the show which also features remote coverage of the C$75,000 Earl Rowe Memorial Trot from Georgian Downs.

The two-hour broadcast gets underway at 7:30 p.m. and covers five races.

Trainer Ben Baillargeon will be well represented at both venues with two starters in the Earl Rowe (P L Jill and Musical Rhythm) and one of the expected favorites, Rhythm In Motion, in the OSS Gold divisions. COSA TV sent their cameras to the farm of the veteran conditioner earlier this week for a behind the scenes look at his weekend starters.

Greg Blanchard, Mark McKelvie and Jaimi MacDonald will be on location at Rideau Carleton to host the action. The show will be aired on the COSA TV Facebook and YouTube channels as well as the CUJO Entertainment and Harness Racing Update Facebook channels. Standardbred Canada will also stream the broadcast live on their website.

The hosts will have a chance to engage the audience through a pair of new contests that will be introduced. Hoofbid.com is sponsoring the show’s poll question and everyone with the correct answer will be entered win a new e-bike to be drawn during the season finale. As well, COSA is sponsoring draws during the next two Facebook Live shows where winners will receive Pepsi NA Cup ‘viewing party’ packages.
