Wilkes-Barre, PA — Spring is here and Easter is just around the corner. The Downs at Mohegan Sun Pocono is now into the 2018 racing season and is excited to announce that there will be live racing on Easter Sunday (April 1). There will be a special post time of 5 p.m.

Pacer’s Clubhouse, overlooking the beautiful five-eighths-mile track, is serving a sumptuous all you can eat buffet starting at 4 p.m. Included in the delicious menu is succulent ham, smoked kielbasa, pasta and other Italian specialties, crisp salads and mouth-watering desserts. The price is $17.99, which includes coffee, tea and soft drinks. Walk-ins are welcome, or reserve by calling 1.888.WIN.IN.PA.

There’s lots of chances to win, too. Fans have a chance to win up to $100 in live racing vouchers starting at 4 p.m. A Racing Rewards card and valid ID are required, and line-up begins at 3 p.m. for this great event. All vouchers expire on the last race of the night, and this is one per fan, while supplies last.

Racing moves to the regular four day a week schedule of Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Saturday with the new post time of 7 p.m. No live racing Monday (April 2). The 2018 Breeders Crown is Saturday (Oct. 27).
