Stockholm, Sweden — The draw for the 2022 Elitlopp took place on Sunday afternoon (May 22) on national television in Sweden.

Sixteen trotters, representing six countries, have been placed in two eliminations, to take place on May 29 at Solvalla, in Stockholm. The four first finishers from each elimination will advance to the final, which is held on the same afternoon.

Each elimination has a purse for the winner of $25,000 (U.S.), and the winner’s share of the final purse is a record $500,000 (U.S.).
