Harrington, DE — Empress Deo ($4.40, Montrell Teague) registered her third win of the meet with a powerful 1:52.3 triumph in the $15,000 Mares Open Tuesday (May 29) at Harrington Raceway.
The 7-year-old Rocknroll Hanover mare led virtually wire-to-wire over Shesarocker and I’m Won Rum Wiser for trainer Wayne Givens. It was the 29th career win for Empress Deo who is owned by the Legacy Racing of Delaware Stable.
Jason and Susan Skinner’s BJ’s Sweetheart ($7, Victor Kirby) recorded her 31st career win with a front end score in 1:53.4. It was part of a training double for Jason Skinner.
