Explosive Matter, who has been at stud at Hanover Shoe Farms since 2009, has been sold to Swedish owners and will stand at the historic Brodda Stud in Southern Sweden in 2018.
The Swedish trade-magazine Travronden reports that the price tag was $1.5 million.
Explosive Matter took a mark of 3,1:52.3 and had earnings of $1.5 million.
Hambletonian winner Pinkman 3,1:51 ($2.5 million) has by far been his best offspring.
At the Lexington Selected Sale this year a full sister to Pinkman was sold for $210,000.
