Columbus, OH — Harnesslink.com is reporting that Falcon Seelster was euthanized on Saturday (September 17) at the age of 29.
Falcon Seelster raced from 1984-86 and won 36 of 51 lifetime starts, with earnings of $1,121,045. He took his lifetime mark of 1:51 on Sept. 19, 1985 at Delaware in one of the most memorable performances in harness racing history.
The son of Warm Breeze-Fashion Trick had a solid breeding career in Kentucky and New Jersey for 15 years, with his offspring banking more than $78 million, with 311 taking marks of 1:55.
He spent the last few years of his life breeding horses in New Zealand for Nevele R Stud.
