Two fillies, both sired by North American based stallions, fetched the top price at yearling sales in Norway and Finland Friday night.
Match this One, a filly by Kadabra and out of Ms Striking, was sold for $63,000 in Norway. The dam had earlier foaled Oh Oh Its Magic (by Credit Winner) 1.56.4 ($392,202).
The second highest price was $45,000 for a colt sired by the French stallion Offshore Dream.
In Finland Zest Kemp, a filly by Yankee Glide out of Proud Service, sold for $36,000.
Proud Service is the dam of Proud Moment (by Self Possessed) 1.53.4 ($212,226).
Stoneisle Lillian, by Sj’s Caviar out of Ginger Tree Megan sold for $21,000 – she a full sister to Ginger Tree Jimmy 1.54.2 ($244,593) and Ginger Tree Wanda 1.54.3 ($77,685).
The four most expensive yearlings at the Finnish sale were all fillies.
