Delaware, OH — Ron Pierce and Brian Sears will become a little busier on Jug day as they were named to drive Something For Doc and Wink N Atcha, respectively.
Pierce, the four-time Jug champion, will send the Brian Brown trainee from the rail in the first elimination.
Sears will look to capture his first LBJ with WInk N Atcha. The George Teague, Jr. pupil will have post three in the second $84,288 first-heat elimination.

Guaranteed Pool Reminder
The Little Brown Jug has joined forces with the United States Trotting Association’s Strategic Wagering Program.
The USTA Strategic Wagering Program is designed to provide value to horseplayers by guaranteeing the size of designated wagering pools. The Delaware County Fair will have five multi-race guaranteed pools on the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday cards. Thursday’s $20,000 Pick-3 will feature the eliminations of the 66th Little Brown Jug.
“The Jug is pleased to be part of the USTA’s Strategic Wagering Program,” noted Phil Terry, General Manager of the Delaware County Fair. “We have been fortunate to have large mutuel handles in the past and the guaranteed pools will be very popular for the serious bettor and the novice alike.”
