Frederick LaFlash’s Marced Card became the first two-year-old to race in 2004 when he won a qualifier on Tuesday (April 20) at Spring Garden Ranch in Florida.

Trained by Don Brown and driven by Louis Bauslaugh, the son of Cam’s Card Shark–Marcella Hanover crossed the finish line in 2:02, pacing his last half in 1:00 and the final quarter in :31.

Marced Card was a 13 length winner over Debbie Ann.
