Franck Nivard, known as the driver of Bold Eagle, won the European Championship for drivers held in Norway and Sweden this week.

Franck Nivard won the European Championship for drivers held in Norway and Sweden this week.
The championship consisted of ten races, five at Bjerke in Norway and five at Aby in Sweden.
After the first five races Nivard was fourth in the standings, but he finished strongly and won three races at Aby, where he collected a total of 95 points.
Rick Ebbinge from The Netherlands also had 95 points, but as Nivard won more races, the title was his.
The first six finishers from this European Championship qualified for the World Driving Championship to be held next year in Sweden. They are Franck Nivard, France; Rick Ebbinge, The Netherlands; Eirik Høitomt, Norway; Michael Nimczyk, Germany; Mika Forss, Finland; and Rodney Gatt, Malta.
