Delaware, OH — Friskie Beauty won two legs of the Ohio Sire Stakes at Northfield Park and has been selected as the Ohio Chapter of the United States Harness Writers Association’s Horse of the Month in August.
The freshman daughter of Feelin Friskie-Downwyn Kate has proven that she likes the “Flying Turns” of the Route 8 oval with victories in the August 12 and August 26 legs of the OSS. Her 1-1/2 length victory in the latest OSS event established a new lifetime mark of 1:57.1.
Friskie Beauty was driven to victory by Chip Noble and is conditioned by Marty Wollam. Thurman Downing owns the homebred.
Friskie Beauty hopes September is also a productive month with the $75,000 OSS Final at Scioto Downs and the Ohio Breeders event at the Delaware County Fairgrounds still left on her card.
