Goshen, NY — Unfortunately for us all, 2020 didn’t turn out as we had expected. At Goshen Historic Track, we had only one day of harness racing this year and the attendance was restricted to drivers, trainers and horse owners.

There was no Kentucky Derby Day, no First Responders Day, no Seniors Day, or any other public events.

We don’t have to tell you that Goshen Historic Track depends on at least six days of racing and many other events to thrive. This was to have been the year when we would have shown everyone just how amazingly we recovered from the fire of 2017.

We suffered along with so many other businesses. Yet, despite COVID-19, the track has been fully operational every day, thanks to the efforts of our dedicated track maintenance and office staff. Our tenants’ horses have been out there pacing and trotting every day.

Please help us keep trotting and pacing.

We are reaching out to all of our friends and asking for their support at this time of uncertainty. As you know, maintaining Goshen Historic Track and its stables is a challenge even in the best of times. We depend on well-attended events for revenue. Please donate whatever you can.
