Great Darke County (Ohio) Fair opens 2022 stand Friday

Greenville, OH — Harness racing returns to the Great Darke County Fair, in Greenville, Ohio, Friday night (Aug. 19) with their first of four programs scheduled for 2022.

A 12-race card opens the meet, featuring the Ohio Colt Racing Association Stakes and the Signature Series Trot. First post is 6:30 p.m.

The meet continues Saturday (Aug. 20) at 6:30 p.m. and Monday (Aug. 22) at noon, before the closing-night card next Thursday (Aug. 25) features the Gene Riegle Memorial Pace, Arnie Almahurst Trot and the Parshall Memorial Stakes.

Once again, the Chip Noble Award, sponsored and designed by equine artist Ann Lufkin, will go to to the driver who wins the most races over the four-day stand.
