Greenshoe colt to be sold at yearling sale in France

The most prestigious yearling sale in France is the Arqana Trot sale in Deauville, which this year will take place from Aug. 31 to Sept. 2.

Among the 534 yearlings catalogued is Don Quijote Face, a colt sired by Greenshoe and out of Racing Dreams. bred and entered by the Swedish trainer Lutfi Kolgjini.

Don Quijote Face is the only non-French bred yearling in the sale and when he will be of racing age, he will have limited opportunities to race in France.

His dam, Racing Dreams, has earlier brought Thruway (sired by Cantab Hall) 1:55.1 ($125,486) and I Have A Dream (also by Cantab Hall) 1:55.1 ($66,828).

At the first two days of the sale, yearlings sired by stallions who have crops more than three years of age will be sold and on the last day yearlings by new stallions are catalogued.
