Saratoga Springs, NY — Trainer Rob Harmon and driver Jay Randall teamed up with Racy Roxy A and Quarrel to sweep Tuesday’s (March 25) featured distaff paces at Saratoga Casino Hotel.
Michael Casalino Jr.’s Racy Roxy A, a four-time Open winner at the Spa last season, secured her first top-level win of the year when she parlayed a pocket ride into a 4-1 score in the $15,000 Fillies and Mares Open Handicap Pace. Randall sat patiently with Racy Roxy A behind the favored Alittlesidehustl N (driven by Billy Dobson) through fractions of :27.1, :56.2 and 1:24.4 before pulling the two-hole turning for home and prevailing in 1:53.4.

Racy Roxy A, a 7-year-old Mr Feelgood-Rani Major mare with three wins from four starts this year, paid $10.20 to win.
Harmon and Randall completed their double when the class-dropping Quarrel sprang a 5-1 mild upset in the $13,500 winners-over distaff pace. After hitting the board in Open company in her first two starts of the meet, the 6-year-old Always B Miki-Summer Mystery mare dropped in class and took advantage of a pocket trip en route to a 1:55.1 score.
Quarrel, who is owned by Karma Racing Inc., paid $12.80 to win.
Live racing at Saratoga continues on Wednesday (March 26) with a 15-race card that will kick off at 12 noon.
