Harrah’s Hoosier Park announces $45,000 guaranteed Hoosier High-5 pool for Saturday

Anderson, IN — After a successful opening night of the 2021 live harness racing season on Friday (March 26), Harrah’s Hoosier Park Racing & Casino has announced a $45,000 guaranteed Hoosier High-5 pool for Saturday (March 27).

The Hoosier High-5 went unsolved on Friday as longshots prevailed and put an interesting spin on the opening night action. A $15,707.75 carryover will kick-start the $45,000 guaranteed pool set for Saturday.

In partnership with the United States Trotting Association Strategic Wagering program and the Indiana Standardbred Association, Harrah’s Hoosier Park will offer this signature wager for Saturday’s 14-race card.

The Hoosier High-5, also known as the pentafecta, is featured in the last race of every program at Harrah’s Hoosier Park and features a reduced takeout of 12 percent. The Hoosier High-5 was responsible for one of the biggest payouts to date last season with a $15,157.36 winning ticket paid out.
