Harrisburg Super Sale rescheduled

from the Garden State Horse Sales Company

Harrisburg, PA — Dale Welk, General Manager of the Garden State Horse Sales Company has announced that the Harrisburg Super Sale, previously scheduled for Monday, January 21, at the Pennsylvania State Farm Show Complex, has been rescheduled to take place on Monday, January 14, at the same world renowned venue.

“When we initially scheduled the sale, we were told that because of conflicts with the Pennsylvania Farm Show, that January 21 was the only date available,” said Welk. “However with the wonderful cooperation of the Farm Show personnel we have managed to secure our sales date a week earlier. Thus we are able to avoid any possible conflicts for the later date.

“The Farm Show Complex offers a superb location close to the racing centers at Chester, Dover Downs, The Meadows, Freehold and The Meadowlands and the New Jersey and Pennsylvania training centers. Perhaps most importantly it offers a weather proof venue far more comfortable for our customers, our consignors and the horses being offered for sale.

“In addition the Farm Show Complex offers the convenience of the horses being stabled close to where they will be sold, avoiding the inconvenience to horses and consignors of horses being loaded from the stable area, to the sales ring and back. This also allows our customers the comfort of being able to go back and forth between the stable area and the sales ring without being exposed to the frigid temperatures.”
