High Glider, a 4-year-old son of Yankee Glide-Highland Ridge, has been sold to Brixton Medical of Matawan, N.J., it was announced by Sue Agopian, a principal of Deo Volente Farms.
Unraced at two, High Glider was painstakingly prepared for his 3-year-old season by rising star Marcus Melander and lovingly groomed by caretaker Elise, eventually trotting in 1:55.1f at three while earning $91,109.
Deo Volente Farms had previously participated in the ownership of High Glider who in effect had been prepared for what will prove to be “a global career as will all our trotters,” according to Agopian.
“From the outset, Marcus prepared this horse for global competition and I will closely follow his career there and yes I’m a huge fan of Marcus Melander,” continued Agopian.
Daniel Reden will train High Glider upon his arrival in Sweden.
Deo Volente Farms is the home of Hambletonian champion Trixton (Muscle Hill-Emile Cas El) whose first crop will race this year.
