Iluvtomakemoney rewards backers at Buffalo

Hamburg, NY — Chaching. Iluvtomakemoney put some nice bank into his faithful follower’s pockets by cashing in on a $48.20 stunner in Buffalo Raceway’s $12,000 Class AA-Open Handicap Pace on Saturday night (June 20).

Making a big three-wide brush going around the final turn, Iluvtomakemoney (Ray Fisher Jr.) steamrolled to the lead and was never threatened after that in going the mile in 1:55.1 over the fast track. Hold The Gold (Kevin Cummings) managed to take the place position with Brunello N (Drew Monti) third.
Co-owned by Tanah Merah Farms LLC and Swift Racing, it was the third victory in nine starts this season for Iluvtomakemoney (Well Said-Symphony In Motion). Trained by Ryan Swift, the 5-year-old has bankrolled $21,300 in 2020 and $199,931 lifetime.
A good start led to a great finish for Class Six as he collected the victory in the $10,000 Class A-AA Handicapped Pace in 1:55.0.
Starting from the dreaded eight post, Class Six ($6.30) was rushed off the gate and was able to drop right in behind the rail riding and tempo-setting Allstar Energy (Dave McNeight III). After a moderate :56.4 half, driver Kevin Cummings couldn’t wait any longer and blew past the laboring Allstar Energy down the backstretch and never looked back from there.
Cultural Paradise (Kyle Cummings) finished a length back with Blue On Black (Shawn McDonough) taking third.
Owned by Eric Prevost and conditioned by Sabrina Shaw, Class Six (Western Ideal-Can Du River) is a 9-year-old gelding that has won $22,710 this year and $401,216 in his career.
Don McWhite (Davis Jr.) got a perfect journey behind Andy’s Ideal (Fisher Jr.) in the $10,000 Class A Pace and was able to scratch out a head victory in 1:56.3.
Playing follow the leader with the pace-setting Andy’s Ideal, Don McWhite ($4.80) found room through the passing lane and was able to nudge ahead in the shadow of the wire. Classic American N (Denny Bucceri) rallied late for third place.
Co-owned by Vogel & Wags Nags Stable, Team Rice Racing and Adelphi Bloodstock, the 7-year-old Don McWhite has now won three times in nine tries this season. Trained by Maria Rice, he has produced $21,375 in earnings on the campaign and $182,791 lifetime.
Racing will continue on Wednesday night at 6 p.m. with a 13-race program scheduled.
