Irish Daydream drops and pops in Meadows feature

Washington, PA — Irish Daydream waited patiently in the pocket, then blew by Prancing Queen in the sloppy Lightning Lane to capture Tuesday’s (Dec. 6) feature at Hollywood Casino, a $12,100 conditioned pace for fillies and mares.

Irish Daydream acquitted herself very well in several editions of the track’s top distaff pace and so relished Tuesday’s class relief. She took full advantage, triumphing for Jeremy Indof in 1:53.2, three-quarters of a length better than Arnie’s Angel, who also shot the Lightning Lane. Leave Her Wild rallied for show.

Skylar Tabron trains Irish Daydream, a 4-year-old daughter of Vintage Master-Irish Day, for Frank Indof and Howard Balis. It was one of three wins for Indof on the 13-race card.

Live racing at The Meadows continues Wednesday (Dec. 7), when the 13-race program features a $17,910.06 carryover in the final-race Jackpot Super Hi-5. First post is 12:45 p.m.
