Tim Tetrick edged closer to his 10,000th career victory Wednesday night at Dover Downs, winning with Jag Out in the $25,000 Filly and Mares Open pace
After winning six times on the Tuesday card, Tetrick had tosettle for a driving double edging closer to his 10,000th career victory. Inthe feature Jag Out pulled away from six foes heading to the far turn andwaltzed home a 1:52.4 winner, equaling her lifetime mark. Nick Surick trainsand co-owns the American Ideal-Impertinent 5-year-old with Ben Hockspring andJL Benson Stables. It was her fifth win of the campaign and lifts her seasonalearnings to $141,670. Terror At Night (Allan Davis) was runner-up with Miss MeYet (Montrell Teague) third.
