Northfield, OH — On Saturday (June 5) in the Northfield Park clubhouse, the family of Jeff Cox will receive friends to honor his memory, starting at 4 p.m., before an evening of Ohio Sire Stakes racing and the Battle of Lake Erie.

Cox trained four-time Battle entrant Cambest Prince in 2002-2005, finishing second twice, with a fourth and fifth.

The third race of the evening has been named the Jeff Cox Memorial in which the family will be presenting a winning blanket.
