Washington, PA — Lady’s Dude attacked the leader, Classicality, near the three-quarters and drew away from him late to capture Monday’s (April 23) $20,000 Preferred Handicap Trot at The Meadows.

Lady’s Dude was third when Dave Palone tipped him off the cones and asked him for trot. The 7-year-old Victory Sam-Lady’s Star gelding dueled with Classicality through mid-stretch before putting him away, downing Classicality by 1-3/4 lengths in 1:53.2. Early leader Wind Of The North was third.
Ron Burke trains Lady’s Dude, who now boasts $680,258 in career earnings, for Burke Racing Stable, Weaver Bruscemi and Johnny Yoder.
Jim Pantaleano piloted three winners on the 13-race card.
