The Breeders Crown for 4-year-old horses had Francesco Zet, trained by Daniel Redén and with Ôrjan Kihlström in the bike, as an easy winner, timed in 1:54.2f (mile rate).

The Breeders Crown for 3-year-old colts was won by Dancer Brodde with trainer/driver Johan Untersteiner, timed in 1:56.2f (mile rate). Dancer Brodde is sired by Bold Eagle and out of Dancing In Thehall, she by Cantab Hall.

The purse for the winner in each Breeders Crown race was 800,000 SEK or $75,000. The winner — or any horse who is placed in the race and entered in Premiechancen — has the purse doubled; that means $150,000 for the win.

An owner of a Swedish trotter can choose between a premium of 20,000 SEK, when the horse is qualified to race, or he can choose to enter the horse in Premiechancen and get twice the prize money in designated races.
