April nomination payments due in Iowa

Grinnell, IA — The second payment for 2019 Iowa foaled and registered nominations is due Monday (April 15).

Payment forms are available under the “forms” tab on the Iowa Harness Horseman’s Association website.

Yonkers’ Sheppard Pace nominations close Monday

Yonkers, NY — Yonkers Raceway’s Lawrence B. Sheppard Pace, for 2-year-old colts and geldings, has its nominations close this Monday (April 15), with a sustaining payment due May 15.

The race offers a $100,000 (est.) final Saturday (July 13), a week after the scheduled eliminations.

Sustaining payments due for NJSS Premier Division and Standardbred Development Fund

Trenton, NJ — The April 15 deadline for the increased value New Jersey Sire Stakes and Standardbred Development Fund’s final sustaining payments is approaching.

The NJSS Premier Division’s second sustaining payment remains $500 for both 2- and 3-year-olds. The Standardbred Development Fund second sustaining payment for both 2- and 3-year-olds continues at $150.

Sustaining payment and supplemental nomination forms, as well as race dates and other information, may be found on the NJSS website at www.newjerseysirestakes.com.

All payments must be in U.S. funds. No late payments will be accepted and no billing notices will be mailed. Certified mail is strongly recommended to NJSS, P.O. Box 330, Trenton, NJ 08625.

Second payment due for C$200,000 Prix D’Ete

Trois-Rivieres, QC — This weekend the second nomination payment is due for the C$200,000 Prix D’Ete for 4-year-old pacers at the Hippodrome 3R. The race takes place on Sunday (Aug. 18).

The second payment must be postmarked by Monday (April 15).

A record 40 horses were nominated and made the first payment. All nominations payments must be made in order to remain eligible. There are no supplemental payments allowed for the Prix D’Ete.
