East Rutherford, NJ — Thursday night (Feb. 2) racing at The Meadowlands features leg two of the popular “Race For The G-Notes” overnight series for claiming pacers and conditioned trotters.
Pacers will open the card with the first of three division of the G-Notes. Returning leg one winner Mr Big Load is the morning line choice in this division. Whatagamble defends his opening leg win as the choice in the ninth race while the other winner, May Day, sits this one out.
The ten most successful horses through legs one and two return for the $12,500 final next Thursday.
All three of the trotting winners, Bad Day Black Rock, Montalbano Bi and Stonebridge Idol, are back in and drew into separate divisions. That only heightens the anticipation for the inevitable clash in the $15,000 final one week hence.
Promotionally, double Players Club points are awarded for wagers on the live races and it’s Senior’s Day where you can munch on dollar dogs and donuts while washing those down with a delicious dollar coffee.
We have your free program pages for the $40,000 guaranteed Late Pick-4 along with race reviews and other handicapping aids.
The fun begins at 7:15 p.m.
Super Bowl party on Sunday
Victory Sports Bar will have a huge Super Bowl bash on Sunday hosted by local funny man Vic DiBitetto with food and drink specials and DJ. The party starts at 4 p.m.
