Marlborough, MA — The future of racing in the Bay State may come this week when legislators are expected to discuss a gaming bill for Massachusetts.
The bill before legislators calls for three resort type casinos and one license for slot machines, according to news reports. When finalized it will go to the governor.
If approved by the governor, the bill calls for casinos in eastern, western and central Massachusetts, with bidding on a slots type license.
Massachusetts has 4.7 million licensed drivers and a large population who live in 351 cities and towns.
