Let It Ride N strolls in Dayton Open

Dayton, OH – Let It Ride N didn’t disappoint his backers as the 1-9 favorite in the $25,000 Open Pace on Saturday (Dec. 3) at Hollywood Gaming at Dayton Raceway.

Let It Ride N had his eyes set on finish line as soon as the gate opened. Guided by Tony Hall, the 9-year-old gelding went straight to the front. Unchallenged the entire mile, Let It Ride N easily posted fractions in :27.4, :56.3, and 1:23.3 before opening up by six lengths. He cruised across the finish line in 1:50.3.

The 60-1 longshot Fan Of Terror (Kayne Kauffman) was second with Patrickthepiranha A (Brett Miller) finishing third.

Let It Ride N has been a terror at the open level. Trained by Michael Hitchcock, the gelded son of Rock N Roll Heaven has hit the board in 25 of 32 tries. With 12 seasonal wins, Let It Ride N has banked $246,926 in 2022. Saturday night’s victory further pushed the gelding over $700,000 in lifetime earnings. He is owned in partnership by William Hartt and Enzed Racing Stable.
