Washington, PA — On a rainy day at TheMeadows, lightning struck for Lady’s Dude when he knifed into the LightningLane to capture Wednesday’s (Nov. 1) $20,000 Preferred Handicap Trot.

Lady’s Dude used the Lightning Lane to win Wednesday’s (Nov. 1) $20,000 Preferred Handicap Trot at The Meadows.
Leaving from post eight, Lady’s Dude stalked theleader, Classicality, from the pocket, hoping all the while that Classicalitywould be strong enough on the sloppy surface to carry him to the LightningLane. When Classicality parried the first-over thrust of Call For Justice, itkept the Lightning Lane a viable option. Lady’s Dude brushed inside for TonyHall and snapped Classicality’s four-race winning streak, downing him by alength in 1:55.1. Call For Justice finished third.
