Columbus, OH — Elmer M. Wilson, 95, passed away peacefully on Jan. 28, at his home surrounded by his family.
For more than sixty years, Wilson was involved in the harness racing industry. He owned and often drove several horses during his lifetime, and when younger, was considered one of the best local drivers racing. In his later years, he trained horses and earned $684,681 from 577 starters from 1991-2008.
Services took place at the Thomas E. Melvin & Son Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy., Harrington, Del., on Saturday, Feb. 4, with burial at Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington, Del.
