Northville, MI – Lying In Cash (Aracache Hanover – Jokerslitlwhitelie) rebounded from a flat tire last week to capture the $10,800 Open Pace at Northville Downs Saturday evening (Dec. 3) in 1:54.4.

Lying In Cash, Gabe the Babe and Liberal mixed it up past a sizzling opening quarter of :26.4. Lying In Cash then took over in the paddock turn past the quarter and never looked back, posting fractions of :56.4 to the half, 1:26 to the three-quarters and a final clocking of 1:54.4 to win by 2-1/2 lengths over Gabe the Babe who was second and Diesel Accelerator who finished third.

This was the 28th career win for Lying In Cash and his 10th on the season. His lifetime earnings went to $186,050 with Saturday night’s win as well. Techia Lohmann bred, owns and trains the winner and Jason Merriman held the lines.

Driver Kody Massey took down three wins on the night in races four, six and 11 and he is now just 11 wins behind leading driver Marc St. Louis, Jr. with four nights left to complete. Jason Merriman had two driving wins on the night, as well.
