Marvin Crider, 78, dies

Columbus, OH — Marvin D. Crider, 78, of St. Paris and formerly of Delaware, Ohio, died June 23, 2014, at his residence.

He was born Oct. 25, 1935, in Marysville to the late William M. and Frieda M. Ridgeway Crider.

He was a retired horse trainer while residing in Delaware. Photos and memorabilia that depicted his life will be displayed during the service.

Mr. Crider is survived by his sons, William (Heather) and Joe Clements; and grandchildren, Anna, Garrett and Isabelle. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Margaret; and a brother, Roland.

A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday (July 26) at the Ingram Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Moceri officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 p.m. until the service time. Burial will be held at Oakdale Cemetery with his parents.
