Ft Washington, MD — On Sunday (Nov. 5t) the Maryland Horse Council will be at Rosecroft Raceway enjoying an evening at the races. For many of the members this will be their first experience at a harness racetrack.
The MHC members will be on hand for Rosecroft Raceway’s biggest night of the year with its featured race, the $100,000 Potomac Pace. Some of the nation’s top horses, drivers and trainers are competing in this year’s Potomac Pace.
The track will have a meet and greet with the drivers before the race, which will include Dan Dube, Matt Kakaley, David Miller, Tim Tetrick, Mark MacDonald, Corey Callahan, Jordan Stratton and Brett Miller.
MCH members will be treated to a behind the scenes tour of the raceway and will participate in a winner’s circle picture.
Scheduled speakers for the event include the following: Tom LaMarra-Managing Editor of THAracing.com, Stephanie Jacobs-President of RUS (Racing Under Saddle) Mid-Atlantic, Sasha Moczulski-rider and trainer, and Freddie Hudson-representing the Standardbred Retirement Foundation.
