Matching Funds Grant applications available

Columbus, OH — The 2015 Matching Funds Grant applications are now available.
Visit the Matching Funds Grant section of the fairs website for the both the online submission form and PDF application. All applications mailed in to the USTA must be postmarked on or before May 1, while all online submissions must be submitted no later than 11:59 p.m. (EST) on May 1.
The Matching Funds Grant was started in 2006 to aide county fairs and horsemen’s associations to support a grassroots marketing initiative at the fair level. Examples of applicable expenses are radio, newspaper, billboard and bus advertising. If you are looking for promotional ideas for your fair, you can also check out the Racing Promotion Idea Center.

The deadline is looming for the 2015 Matching Funds Grant program, which has $10,000 available for fairs and local horsemen’s organizations that work with fairs to advertise the racing program.
