Columbus, OH — Matthew “Ken” Bencic, 77, of Westlake, Ohio, died July 21, 2019.

He was the beloved husband of 50 years to the late Marcia (Brown); loving father of Lisa (Eric) Jacobs and Julie (Andy) Drellishak; cherished grandfather of James Jacobs, Travis Jacobs, Jessica Jacobs, Zoe Drellishak and Andrew Drellishak.

Mr. Bencic had been employed as head of capital markets at UBS (formerly Paine Webber) for more than 30 years and retired from S.G. Cowen.

He was an avid owner of racehorses for more than 40 years and enjoyed watching his beloved trotters and pacers.

Visitation is 10 a.m.-noon, Saturday (July 27) at the Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, where funeral services will commence at noon. Interment at Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve.
