East Rutherford, NJ — Meadowlands Racetrack’s new series for $7,500 claimers has filled with a 14-horse field set to go in the ninth race on Friday night (Jan. 13).
The 1-1/2 mile event will be raced weekly though March 11. The top 10 money earners will advance to a $20,000 estimated final on March 23.
“We would like to thank the horsemen for their support as we introduce new racing opportunities this season,” said Racing Secretary Peter Koch.
