Manalapan, NJ — The Meadowlands will offer qualifying races on Thursday (Dec. 29) at 10 a.m. in preparation for the return of live harness racing over the one-mile oval, starting on January 6, 2012.
Director of Racing Peter Koch said that there would be a second day of qualifying that week on Friday (Dec. 30) if there were enough entries to fill at least four races.
Entries for the Dec. 29 qualifiers will be due by 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 28. If qualifiers take place on Dec. 30, those entries will close on Thursday morning, Dec. 29.
