Meadow Lands, PA — Meadows Racetrack & Casino Vice President and General Manager Michael Graninger today announced the hiring of Jamie John as Director of Marketing.

John has had a diverse career and brings with her professional experiences that fit perfectly with The Meadows’ goals and visions for the future. She first worked as a television news reporter in Johnstown and Rock Hill, S.C. After leaving her broadcasting career, John pursued a career in marketing, public relations and protocol as a contractor for the federal government in the Washington, D.C. area.

“We’re happy to have Jamie on board because she understands our marketplace and the competition we face,” Graninger said. “She’s going to be aggressive as we roll out several new campaigns over the next year, including events leading up to the grand opening of our 350,000-square foot permanent casino and racetrack next spring.”

John grew up in Uniontown and moved back to Western Pennsylvania last year.

“I am so glad to be back home, again!” she said. “I look forward to the exciting challenges at The Meadows and am proud to be a part of the team as we head toward the opening of our permanent casino.”
