Paducah, KY — Mickey Hanover, a winner of more than $550,000 lifetime, goes for career win 46 on Sunday night (May 27) at Bluegrass Downs in race five, a conditioned pace.
It won’t be an easy task though as six of the eight starters earned more than $10,000 in 2017, led by 2017 leading trainer Darrell Moore’s Alexa’s Hope who earned almost $30,000.
Two Winners Over paces, races two and seven, and a Winners Over trot, race six, are also on the high quality Sunday night card.
First post for the card is 6 p.m. (CDT).
Horsemen are reminded that there is a new policy at Bluegrass Downs. No horses shall be permitted on the grounds unless the requirements below are met, per Tim Schmitz, Presiding Judge.
All horses must have a current EHV vaccination on file (dated this year 2018) and negative Coggins (one year). All horses shipping into the track for the first time must present a valid certificate of veterinary inspection dated within 72 hours of entry with temperature on certificate.
