Northlands Park in Edmonton, Alberta, has scheduled a 2008 Mildred Williams race on Saturday, March 1, while Fraser Downs will be racing on Sunday, March 2.

The Mildred Williams International Driving Series is a series for fully licenced female drivers taking place in North America. Most races are held in conjunction with a fundraiser for a local breast cancer charity. This is the third year for the series that was won by Ann Karin Larsen in 2007. A total of 73 drivers made at least one start in 37 events last year. Racetracks raised $92,000 for various charities.
