Scarborough, Maine — Mitch Cushing held the hot hand on the first spring-like day of the season at Scarborough Downs on Sunday (April 22), as the 20-year-old teamster turned up just as torrid as the temperature in guiding four winners down Victory Lane.

Included in the tally was an open-length victory with the trotter, Prince C Hall, fittingly symbolizing Cushing’s regal day at the races.
Scarborough Downs will proudly feature live harness racing on Saturday and Sunday at 1:30 p.m. (EDT) throughout the month of April.
