Monticello, NY — Monticello Raceway is in search of 14-year-old horses to mark their final performance on the racetrack during its Au Revoir Race, slated for Thursday (Dec. 22).

“The last few years we didn’t have enough older horses to hold the race, but there seems to be an abundance of 14-year-olds this year, and hopefully we can get enough of them to hold our Au Revoir Race,” said Eric Warner, Monticello Raceway Race Secretary.

The race will have a purse payout of $5,000.
