National Standardbred Horse Show entries still open

by Rob Pennington, for the SPHO-NJ

Millstone Township, NJ — The pre-entries for the 24th annual National Standardbred Horse Show have closed, but entries are still open.

Exhibitors may sign up at the show, but are encouraged to send in entries as soon as possible to avoid standing in line at the registration office.

The show will be held Aug. 10-12 at the Horse Park of New Jersey in Allentown, N.J.

This year’s pre-entries include 62 horses (show record) with 77 horse and exhibitor combinations. Three millionaires have entered the show, Market Share, Golden Receiver and Sevruga. Total earnings for all the entries are in excess of $13 million with 722 wins in over 4,900 lifetime starts.

The SPHO-NJ is excited to host the first three day event and feels it will be the largest show they have ever held.
