Freehold, NJ — The Harness Racing Museum and U.S. Trotting Association will hold the second annual Equine Job Fair on Wednesday, April 28, from 5 to 8 p.m at the Museum, 240 Main St., Goshen, N.Y.
The event is free and open to anyone seeking or offering a job in the horse world. Participating employers can be seeking to fill current or future openings for any kind of job, temporary or permanent, full or part time, “hands on” or administrative.
Employers need not have current openings to participate, as they will be able to collect resumes for future or seasonal openings.
Employers, but not job seekers, must be members of either the U.S. Trotting Association or the Harness Racing Museum. Potential employers that are not current members can become a member to be eligible. The jobs do not have to involve direct horse care, they can be administrative, clerical or maintenance related.
Employers who are not able to attend the event, but wish to make job seekers at the job fair aware of their openings can contact Ellen Harvey at the e-mail and phone number below to find out how to reach those in attendance.
Job seekers should bring at least 20 copies of their resume and be prepared to meet prospective employers.
