Aristoteles Face, a yearling colt sired by Chapter Seven and out of Just Not Into You (by Donato Hanover) was sold Friday night (Aug. 30) at the Kolgjini Sale in Sweden for 4.7 Mio. SEK — or $480,000 — which is a new European sales record.

Aristoteles Face was the only Chapter Seven yearling in the Swedish studbook from 2018. His dam, Just Not Into You, was sold in Harrisburg in 2017 for $35,000 in foal to Chapter Seven to agent Bernie Norén on behalf of Lutfi Kolgjini, a renowned Swedish breeder, trainer and driver.

Aristoteles Face was bought by an owner-group from the Kolgjini stables.

The previous record for a European trotting yearling was 400,000 Euro ($440,000), which was paid for a filly, Hunter Valley, last year at the French Arqana trot sale in Deauville.
