Manalapan, NJ — Commencing this year, the New Jersey Sire Stakes is conducting races for 4-year-olds with both open and mare divisions on the pace and the trot.

To be eligible for these races, horses must have made the yearling nomination payment for the Premier Division and/or the Standardbred Development Fund. A nomination fee to remain eligible of $200 has been extended to Feb. 20.

The first leg of the 4-year-old horse/gelding pace and the 4-year-old mare pace will be held at The Meadowlands on March 20 with a final scheduled for March 27. The trot races for 4-year-old horses/geldings and the 4-year-old mares will be conducted on April 17 with a final slated for April 24.
