Hightstown, NJ — Only two horses in the Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown Top 10 were in action last week, with McWicked and Atlanta both posting wins. McWicked remained No. 2 in the rankings, behind season-long leader Hannelore Hanover, while Atlanta moved from sixth to fourth in the poll.
Courtly Choice and Kissin In The Sand each dropped a notch behind Atlanta. There was no other movement.
The Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll does not determine Horse of the Year. The U.S. Harness Writers Association votes in December on all Dan Patch Award division winners plus Trotter of the Year, Pacer of the Year and Horse of the Year.
