Chester, PA — The nominations for the 2007 Early Closing Program at Harrah’s Chester Casino & Racetrack are due March 15 and must be postmarked no later than midnight on that day.

Nomination forms accompanied by payments should be mailed to: Race Office, Harrah’s Chester Casino & Racetrack, 1001 Harrah’s Blvd., Chester, PA 19013.

Events for the 2007 Early Closing Program include the return of past area prestigious stakes as the Battle of the Brandywine 3-year-old Open Pace and the Colonial 3-year-old Open Trot. Those events were signature races for the former Brandywine Raceway and Liberty Bell Park while in operation. Also included will be the Betsy Ross FFA Mares Pace, the Marquis de Lafayette FFA Trot, and the Valley Forge 3-year-old Filly Pace.

What is hoped to be the signature event of the Harrah’s Chester racing season will be the addition of the Ben Franklin FFA Pace, which will be estimated at $300,000 for the final.
